Editorial Policy of ACTA FRAGILIA

1. Independence and Funding

ACTA FRAGILIA is an independent journalism project. We do not accept funding from government bodies, political parties, or commercial organisations whose interests could influence the content of our materials. Our work is supported solely by readers — through voluntary donations and subscriptions. We publish an annual funding report.

2. How We Choose Topics

We select topics that remain outside the news agenda but have systemic significance: economic mechanisms, corporate conflicts, legal anomalies, religious movements, media distortions. Priority is given to topics that can be verified through documents, registries, court decisions, and interviews with participants in the processes.

3. Fact-Checking and Methodology

Every piece undergoes a three-level verification:

• Fact — a documentarily confirmed statement with a cited source.
• Conclusion — a logical consequence of facts, explicitly separated from them.
• Hypothesis — an assumption requiring verification; always marked as a hypothesis and never presented as an established fact.

We use open sources, official registries, court rulings, corporate reports, as well as our own interviews and investigations. All sources are indicated in the text or in the notes.

4. Sources and Citation

We quote sources verbatim, without distorting their meaning. If a source is anonymous, we explain the reason for anonymity (security threat, informant status, etc.). We do not use anonymous sources without cross-checking their information.

5. Corrections

If a factual error is found in a published material, we publish a correction within 48 hours of notification. The correction is clearly marked with the date and nature of the change. We do not delete or edit published texts without explicit notice to the reader.

6. Anonymity and Source Protection

We guarantee anonymity to sources whose safety or professional position may be at risk. Information that could identify a source is not stored in the open and is not passed to third parties. All communications with sources are conducted through secure channels.

7. Conflict of Interest

Authors and editors of ACTA FRAGILIA are required to declare any personal or professional connections that could affect their work on a material. In the event of a potential conflict of interest, the material is transferred to another author or editor. All declarations are kept on file in the editorial office.

8. Advertising and Sponsorship

ACTA FRAGILIA does not publish advertisements, sponsored articles, or native advertising. We do not accept payment for mentioning goods, services, or organisations. The only exception is partnership programmes that do not influence editorial content and are explicitly marked as such.

9. Feedback

Readers may send questions, comments, and suggestions to acta_fragilia@proton.me. We read all emails and aim to respond within 7 working days. Critical comments regarding facts are given priority.

10. Limitation of Liability

ACTA FRAGILIA materials are of an analytical and informational nature. We do not provide legal, financial, or other professional advice. Decisions made on the basis of our materials are taken by the reader at their own risk. We accept no liability for the consequences of such decisions.
